In 1975, Andrew Leigh began the business from a small garage, initially specializing in quality hand tools. Early market challenges only strengthened his resolve, and steady growth marked the start of our journey in the UK electrical industry.

A move to larger premises in the early 1980s allowed the business to expand both its team and product range. Cable reels became part of our offering, paving the way for future manufacturing in the UK and partnerships with leading retailers.
Strategic Expansion in Colindale
To meet growing demand, we relocated to a purpose-built facility in Colindale. This move boosted our production capabilities and enabled us to develop a broader product range, including multi-socket extension leads, transformers, and tripods, strengthening our market presence.
Strengthening Our Foundations
Securing ownership of the Colindale site provided long-term stability. We deepened our relationships with international manufacturing partners, including a key collaboration that has supported us for more than two decades, ensuring product reliability and supply continuity.

In 2012, Mr. Saleem Dadabhoy joined Connexion Electrical with a clear vision for growth and innovation. His leadership accelerated expansion in product lines, reinforced manufacturing partnerships, and improved operational efficiency. This period laid the groundwork for modernizing the company and preparing it for a new phase of structured growth.
Ownership and Modernization
In 2023, Connexion Electrical came under the ownership of Site Tools Ltd., led by Mr. Saleem Dadabhoy. This milestone marked the launch of a fully redesigned website, an expanded digital presence across social media, and a new warehouse management system. Alongside these upgrades, more than 120 new products were introduced, broadening our range to meet diverse customer needs. These initiatives streamlined operations, enhanced customer experience, and modernized our brand for the future.
